Restorative Services

in Garland, TX

At Willis Family Dentistry, we strive to educate our patients on restorative dental procedures and perform them with the least amount of pain as possible. Our tooth-colored fillings can restore a damaged or decayed tooth to its normal shape and function without disturbing the overall aesthetics of your smile. Here are our restorative services provided in our Garland TX office.

Crown and Bridgework

If your tooth has a large filling or cavity, or is broken, we may suggest a crown to protect it from further damage. You’re in good hands at Willis Family Dentistry, and we make sure that every crown is placed with precision for a long lasting smile. The doctor will determine the best crown to use to restore the look and function of your teeth.

Tooth Colored Fillings

A filling (restoration) is a way to restore a tooth that has been damaged by decay or injury, We will first remove the decayed tooth structure, clean the affected area, and then bond the filling material. There are a variety of tooth filling materials available. To accurately match your tooth shade and facilitate normal functioning, we use minimally invasive techniques and conserve more natural tooth structure.

Implant Restoration

Dental implants provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel and function like natural teeth. The implants are tiny titanium posts which are placed into the jawbone where teeth are missing. The bone bonds with the titanium, creating a strong foundation for artificial teeth.

Dentures & Partial Dentures

If you’re missing teeth, Willis Family Dentistry may suggest full or partial custom made dentures. During your consultation, we will discuss your needs and determine the restorative option that is best for your dental health and your budget.

Complete Dentures are removable and they are used to restore your smile and mouth function if you have lost all of your teeth. They are custom made to resemble your natural teeth and are positioned in the mouth to take the place of where you natural teeth would be. Sometimes dentures may require adjustment in order to create a proper fit with your gums and mouth overall.

Partial dentures are removable devices used to replace one or more missing teeth in the upper or lower jaw. They consist of replacement teeth attached to a gum-colored plastic base, which is then placed in the mouth. Partial dentures fill the space created by missing teeth as well as create a support for the remaining teeth to prevent shifting.
